In the Bible it states if you have as much faith as a mustard seed you can move a mountain. Our little thrift shop is a good example of that.  Our shop has become a true mission vessel of our church. Peple who donate bring their things to us because they know we pass on our overflow to organizations that help others. If any of you have ever looked into the entrance hall on the left as you enter the sanctuary, you will see a literal mountain of bags of clothes and boxes of household items that are being passed on to these organizations. One of them, United Veterans Beacon House, actually clothes the homeless veterans and their families. 

In Matthew 25:35-36 Jesus says when you clothe the naked you clothe me. We have people wanting to volunteer here because they feel there is a spirit here that is nowhere else. The team that works here is truly dedicated and it is because of the mission work that our thrift shop does and because of that spirit. This little mustard seed of a thrift shop moves mountains by the lives it touches from the volunteers who work here, to the donors who know they are helping someone somewhere, to the visitors who come through our doors and are touched by that spirit, to the organizations we support, to helping keep the doors of our church open. 

We are truly moving mountains.
